Water conservation is a hot topic these days, especially in desert states such as Arizona and California. After hot summer months with high water usage, Arizona American Water reminds customers to continue to conserve water throughout the fall and winter months. The utility company highlights how some customers have already radically reduced their water use by installing artificial turf lawn.
Customers are learning how to make wiser landscaping choices. According to Arizona American Water, a local Paradise Valley family featured in the company’s August bill saved more than 100,000 gallons of water each month with their decision to install synthetic grass in a portion of their backyard.
“These customers are prime examples of the conservation efforts Arizonans are starting to make,” said Paul Townsley, President of Arizona American Water. “Customers are more cognizant of conserving water in the desert than ever before.”
Along with installing artificial grass, costumes can choose to plant desert plants. If you want to conserve water, buy synthetic turf from Artificial Turf Supply today.
